Needs updating

I travel often and this hotel is very old and needs to be updated......It has that old smell.....

This was our first trip to Savannah/Pooler area, I had heard many things about the huge crime rate in Savannah. We were traveling with my 3 small daughters & dog, I wanted some where safe & that was pet friendly. I chose the Holiday Inn and was very happy that I did. They have a restaurant in the hotel that serves very good food, and is ran by some of the nicest people I have met in a very long time. There are a few fast food restaurants also within walking distance. Our room was very nice & spacious. We had no issues & I would stay there again! The hotel is only 10 mins from downtown Savannah.
- Pros: Staff & room size are perfect!
- Cons: Pool area is small.
Budget-minded travelers appreciate amenities like complimentary breakfast buffet and a kids-stay-free policy.
