Dance club...hmmmmm.

There are much better bars to go to & to call it a dance club is pushing it. The large dance floor is always empty & the one downstairs sometimes has a few folks on it. The staff is nice though. If you want a true "gay bar "experience at Club 1, go on gay pride otherwise go elsewhere.

Dance Club Freak

I am what most people call a "club boy" I love the night life and I just love to dance and shows that they put on. I went to Club One last year for pride..granted that there was a cover charge, but the bartenders were really nice to me and the people there were also nice...the shows on the upper level were done well..I would recommend this bar to anyone who wants to expirence more in a club...

• Pros: Great Music, Good Drinks
• Cons: Hard to find Parking

The Scene
A dizzying display of entertainment possibilities pervades the enormous two-tiered dance floor, upstairs cabaret and basement-level video bar. Male go-go dancers, performing drag queens, local revelers and "Midnight"-obsessed tourists stir up a party almost every night of the week. DJs spin on the main floor while the video bar features current Top 40 and dance videos. Time your visit with a cabaret show: regular cast shows are Thursdays through Mondays.

The Draw
Savannah's signature gay bar and hottest dance club attracts hip locals looking for a decadent party. Weekends see more tourists, introduced to Club One through Lady Chablis in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". Call ahead to find out when to catch Lady Chablis on stage; she still makes frequent appearances. In addition to cabaret shows, karaoke, DJs and dancing are offered throughout the week.

I enjoyed Club One, my husband and I went with some friends to the drag show and had a great time. Great music, gay and straight people where there. We felt it was a good atmosphere and had a great time and we are straight. The Show was amazing those ladies are talented.

not my favorite bar in town

This is a gay bar, if that is your scene then you'll love it. This is just something that you need to know about this bar. There is a cover charge here which is why I do not frequent there. Most bars in Savannah DO NOT have a cover charge. I like to stick with the cheaper bars. This is also a dance club which is not my scene. It is a matter of opinion but if you like gay bars and dance clubs then this is the place for you.
