Great food and the best fried green tomatoes in the country.

We were in Savannah last April and we will be back on the 29th of this month. Our first stop will be Huey's.

I hope they haven't stopped making those tomatoes. Even if they have the menu is great also.

The view from the restaurant is really neat. Make sure you take the trolley tour of Savannah you will learn much about the old city. I love Savannah. The people are wonderful didn't meet one that was discourtious.

weak, weak drinks

$6.50 for the weakest bloody Mary I've ever had in my life. The fried green tomatoes weren't bad. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Great people watching spot...

Where else can you go for a delicious breakfast, delightful conversation and exceptional view !? I come to Savannah often and always stop at Huey's for breakfast. The staff are both attentive and friendly. The place is generally flooded with the tourist crowd, but loads of regulars fill the tables as well.

• Cons: Loads of impatient tourists

yummy breakfast, nice view

they had a great variety of breakfast food and the pain perdu was delicious. the food came out fast but the server was very slow refilling drinks, bringing the check, etc. (although this seemed common in savannah)

Got News for Huey

Not worth the trouble of standing around for 30 minutes for a table. Its not that the food or service is bad, its just not worth the prices. Plenty of otehr options on River/Bay where you dont have to wait around for a table. However, if youre looking for a drink, the bar service is fast and good.

• Cons: not worth waiting for a table
