Great food and the best fried green tomatoes in the country.. We were in Savannah last April and we will be back on the 29th of this month. Our first stop will be Huey's.

I hope they haven't stopped making those tomatoes. Even if they have the menu is great also.

The view from the restaurant is really neat. Make sure you take the trolley tour of Savannah you will learn much about the old city. I love Savannah. The people are wonderful didn't meet one that was discourtious.

weak, weak drinks. $6.50 for the weakest bloody Mary I've ever had in my life. The fried green tomatoes weren't bad. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Great people watching spot.... Where else can you go for a delicious breakfast, delightful conversation and exceptional view !? I come to Savannah often and always stop at Huey's for breakfast. The staff are both attentive and friendly. The place is generally flooded with the tourist crowd, but loads of regulars fill the tables as well.

yummy breakfast, nice view. they had a great variety of breakfast food and the pain perdu was delicious. the food came out fast but the server was very slow refilling drinks, bringing the check, etc. (although this seemed common in savannah)

Got News for Huey. Not worth the trouble of standing around for 30 minutes for a table. Its not that the food or service is bad, its just not worth the prices. Plenty of otehr options on River/Bay where you dont have to wait around for a table. However, if youre looking for a drink, the bar service is fast and good.

Shrimp and Grits. I was in Hilton Head Island and needed a break from the beach so we decided to go to the riverfront in Savanna. We happened upon Huey's and could not have been happier. I had the luncheon porton of Shrimp and Grits and my girl friend had the Sausage Po Boy. We loved it and would be back for more if home wasn't Ral/Durham, NC

recommand. It is on river side. Nice view. Good location to watch people. Food is good. It is New Orlean Cajun food, but it is not as good as it is in New Orleans. However, it is a nice place to go. Take a walk on river side, visit stores, do some shopping, and then eat here. I recommand this restaurant.
