WORST SALON EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE – The entire salon treated me with disrespect and unprofessionalism. First of all, I was scheduled for one person (Kylie) and ended up with another (Joni), without prior notice or anything of the sort. My hair color is way off, my bleached sections were tainted with the hair color, my brows (which I have dyed) were dyed unevenly and, because the dye was left on too long, my face has stain marks. During the cutting process, my hair was not cut smoothly and my bangs were cut too short, despite specific requests. When she went to style my naturally curly hair, she did the most nonsensical things, leaving my hair a frizzed out scraggly mess - something that it NEVER is. She realized how bad it was and offered to go and wash out my freshly dyed hair and have ME redo the styling. I refused and did my best with a spray bottle and products. She was now afraid to style my bangs and begged me to blow dry my own hair, holding out a blow dryer and brush, THREE TIMES despite my refusal. I'm sorry, but I do not go into a salon to blow dry my own hair. When I called later to complain and to see what could be done, I was given excuses - not apologies. I later got a call with "my options" - redo (by Kylie) or refund. I scheduled for a redo and the next day got a call from Kylie herself. Kylie cut me off at every sentence to "be completely honest with me" and tell me what a fan she was of Joni's work. She brushed off every part of my horrific story with absolute rudeness. Finally, I could no longer remain so polite and calm. I raised my voice and asked her to please stop cutting me off. She HUNG UP ON ME. NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS SALON - ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT AVEDA COLOR.
