They have become like family – I read the review "good daycare but you have to watch them" and was leery about sending my child there. But, when I interviewed the daycare, I liked their program and size a lot. My three year old has been there for a year, and I now have an infant there as well. All of the caregivers seem to know all of the children, regardless of what class they are in or what age they are. I feel like my children are in such good hands and that the employees genuinely care for them very much. At first I thought the owners were a little odd, but I have come to really appreciate them and admire them for the great daycare they have built and staff they have hired. My children receive love and guidance every day. In addition, they practically potty trained our older child for us, and she gets an appropriate age-level education, too. I feel like it's a great mix of daycare and preschool. I recommend BB Daycare without reservation.
best day care in savannah – I loved this day care for my 3 month old daughter! I felt like everyone truely cared about her welfare- not just their paycheck. They had age appropriate exercises for the babies to help them develop motor skills.
The only reason we left is because we bought a home in Ellabell and the commute was about an hour and a half for me each direction. My daughter is now 3 and would still be there if we still lived in Savannah. You can't go wrong- best day care experience I've had!
Good Day Care But You Have To Watch Them! – Good Daycare but you've got to watch them!
My son attended BB Daycare for 1 year. I recently removed him from the school because he was injured by a teacher while being sent to time out. The teacher reacted in anger and while she was nice, no child should be injured in any way by a teacher. The owners of the school are not very engaged. You'll get plenty of smiles but if you need resolution to an issue involving your child you pretty much get only the smile or a blank expression. Relative to the curriculum, I wouldn't say that a parent can expect their child to have a very active learning experience. The materials are often just copies of coloring sheets from the web (Sesame Street). You'll notice when you go to the classrooms that there are no learning materials on the walls, just nursery decorations. I am also quite certain none of the teachers have early childhood development degrees as you'll find in other daycare centers. They do have a spanish speaking caregiver that goes to each room weekly to teach a few basic words. All in all, the school is clean and bright. They also have a nice play area for the children. Bible Baptist Daycare is good for those able to spend top dollar for a glorified babysitting service. Lastly, check your child daily. When my child was injured NO ONE from the daycare called me. I had to do my own investigation into what happened and then contact them. Their first line of defense was to pretty blame a 19 month old for being sent to timeout and getting hurt by a teacher on the trip there. In fairness, I did not have a problem prior to my child being injured, but as a parent, for me that was unacceptable.
