Delicious Burgers.
We went in there for a fast meal and not only was it quick but the food was delicious. Cooked to order. and the waitress was nice. Good happy hour too. My husband had the garden burger and he was very happy. Much better than we expected! Sweet potato fries were awesome!

Just great!.
Ignore the bad reviews - if the service was bad it certainly is great now, The burgers are something else AND they cook them to your liking. I dont know anywhere else that will cook a rare burger - what confidence in the beef quality!

EH.....1st time there, wont be back.
Let me begin by saying I have never ever been to B&D burgers before. We stopped through Savannah to visit a few friends and decided to go to B&D Burgers for dinner. It's a really nice place and the waitress was nice and than it all goes downhill from there.
My friends ordered cheese fries and the cheese was hard and burnt so they sent them back. One of my friends noticed that the waitress went straight to the manager and they both looked our way. The waitress than brought out a "new" batch and they were even MORE overdone than the 1st time. We asked to speak to the manager and she came to our table with an attitude saying that that's the way they did the fries and that there was nothing she could do about it. She was defensive from the get go and even tried to bring me into the argument asking me if I thought my fries were overdone! My fries didn't even have cheese! She asked us if we wanted the fries or not and we told her no, she said fine and stalked off. Goes to show the customer isn't always right.....I wont be going there again.
P.S. I asked for my burger well done and it was pink in the middle. Is that the way you just "do" burgers also?

One good location, one BAD location.
We love the B&Ds on Abercorn. The food is wonderful and the service is great--polite, timely. Your food is always brought out as ordered, no mistakes, not burnt or undercooked.
The B&Ds on Broughton is not worth any time or money. The service is absolutely ridiculous. Both the waitress and the manager were very rude. Our kids' cheese fries were brought out burnt the first time and when we sent them back, they came back even more burnt. The food was not up to par either. If you are looking for a good burger downtown, this is NOT the place to go!

Poor customer relations.
I'd like to write about the food in detail, but I didn't get to eat my order. I and 3 others visited Savannah while attending a class in Georgia. I ordered my burger bacon cheese burger medium but it was very pink, and not just in the center; it was clearly rare and I sent it back. It was returned warmer, but not one bit closer to medium and the cheese showed dents were the bacon had been, meaning they could only put it on the grill on one side. I asked to speak to the manager and she actually asked to be describe what I wanted, as if I'd misordered. I said I'm going by the description on your menu, can I see the menu again. She still wanted me to describe what I wanted - I was so put off by her attitude I cancelled the order. Emily, you should find a job in which you're actually interested in learning.
The others with me with ate their orders. They weren't bad, but they weren't particularly impressed; two indicated the meat was pretty small in comparison to the bun, and the bun was overwhelming. I wouldn't recommend this burger place, and would probably advise anyone to avoid this place. I think the kudos are self-promoted, as the food really didn't seem to live up to the write-ups. Maybe it was just an off day.

Good burger choices...bad service.
As a first timer in Savannah, my girlfriend and I just arrived and were hungry. It was about 3:30 so most of the restaurants were closed till 5, but there were many cafe's open. Unfortuatly we chose B & D Burgers. There were many choices on the menu that looked very good. They were not very busy, I think there were about 10 other people eating there at the time. They had two wait staff and one bartender that also cooked the burgers. It was our choice where to sit so of course we sat promptly but our waitress took a while to come take our order. I also had to get up and go to the bar to get my drink refreshed. The burger cook seemed to be flirting with some girls at the time our burgers were cooking and over cooked mine. I can say it was somewhat tasty but not in my top twenty burger places of all time. My girlfriend said hers was fine so I left it at that and did not complain.

Wonderful Food, Great Prices!.
This place was awesome! They had 33 different burgers to choose from, plus a host of other items. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, bbq sauce, and melted cheese on toasted wheat bread. I also ordered fried pickle chips with ranch dip. Man oh man! They were awesome! The prices were excellent and the food was great. The atmosphere was nice and packed at lunch and service was great. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Savannah.

Best Burgers.
The burgers are just awesome! They have so many different burgers and they are all very wonderful. When we have family come from out of town, we just have to take them to B&D Burgers. Though the burgers are wonderful and the atmosphere very cheery, service is sometimes a bit on the slacking side. Of course, the burgers are so wonderful, we just keep going back.
