Excellent Fajitas- Except they don't make homeade tortillas.
We got multiple suggestions to try El Real. Everyone we know love this place. So we decided to try it. We have been spoiled for years living in Texas when it comes to Mexican. We have had many
challenges trying to find something even coming close. We almost gave up until we tried El Real.
We pulled up and the place looks clean and well maintained. We walked in and there was actually staff ready to seat and help us. (Not all Savannah area restaurants are like this) they brought out terrific hot fresh chips and salsa which was excellent. This was starting to make us feel like we were back in Texas. We ordered Fajitas and Enchiladas. The Fajitas came out sizzling hot and looking oh so good. They were delicious only thing is that the tortillas were not fresh but store bought. Is there any place is Savannah that makes real tortillas? Our quest is still unanswered. Anyway we were very impressed with the taste and quality of the fajitas and we will go back again. We tried the cheese enchiladas but they were not the best. They taste good but too much of the sauce on top. I would recommend the fajitas.…
