Fantastic experience.
Fantastic experience. My husband and I had a couples' massage (his first massage and my first prenatal)... perfect amount of pressure during massages, relaxing ambiance, and professional staff all around. We were downstairs in a couples' therapy room and both left extremely satisfied. My husband especially, a mechanic that didn't think a massage was a guy thing, is now a convert as well. We actually had a problem with another spa in the area who mis-scheduled our couples' appointment. We left the first spa and Yelped the area for another. Savannah Day Spa came up as the top-rated one in town. Now I know why. Celeste, the manager, bent over backwards to accommodate us with very little notice on a busy tourist weekend... and our experience was so relaxing, you'd never have known we were last-minute appointments.
I will definitely visit this spa on our next trip to Savannah.

Wow, there have been a few people with problems recently! I felt I had to add our experience of the Spa.
We travelled on our Honeymoon. I booked the Spa in advance over email (easiest international method) and the staff were very curteous (or at least as much as you can be by email). I booked a couples facial (no massages due to back problems) and an hour in the Couples Retreat. My wife is a regular Spa user in the UK and loves this kind of thing. I am not, as a bloke I rarely use services like this. It was a great way to relax together, the staff that we had were all excellent. The place was busy on a Tuesday afternoon, so clearly a lot of people like this spa. My wife described the facial as the best that she has had, so that is our benchmark. The Couples retreat was fun, although we had a slight problem with the plug in the hot tub and had to fill it up a couple of times. There is now a small clock in the room, there was a previous comment about not knowing the time, so you can now know how long you have been in there. The mimosas, fruit and cheese was lovely. Only slight complaint is that with the ornamental gas fire it does get very hot in here. The steam shower definitely worth a shot and fills the entire retreat with steam! Overall, although this isn't cheap it was value for money and we came away feeling very relaxed and without any kind of complaint.
