We were charged for a king bed room with a jacuzzi, and I tried hard not to be but ended up disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the small room, and empty parking lot, however, sometimes an empty parking lot is proof of this place needing improvement. The breakfast was great! It was my first time using a waffle iron, and I really like it! the trash was gross and overflowing, someone REALLY needed to change it. However, the main reason I rented this room was for the tub, and it was dirty and had different hairs in it! therefore, I informed the staff, and asked for it to be cleaned so I could use it. Unfortunately, they never came through with their reassurance of cleaning the bathroom and the hair. I really needed a microwave, and there was supposed to be one according to the amenities list. However, there was not one. Also, we had a very old giant box television, we had to bring our own ps3 from home since there was no dvd player, and the sound on the tv was crackling and would not work. Unfortunately we called twice, and they said they would swap a tv, and it is now 1108 at night, and STILL no one! We even had to buy a cord to connect everything! We were also supposed to get a non-smoking room, and the room smells like smoke, and we had to spray it, and there was even an ash tray in the room? The tub was not in the same room as the bed, it was in the bathroom next to the shower. The tub looked like it was still in the process of being put in with all of the wood structure showing, and the laminate tile on it was hanging off. The shower didn't have a liner long enough to cover the whole opening of the shower, so water was EVERYWHERE. There was also no light in the shower, unfortunately. I liked it overall, but my standards are not very high since I am cheap. Cheap like the hand made wannabe fountain in the lobby, it actually made me laugh out loud. No bugs yet though, and the bed was clean and comfy, and one staff member seemed friendly and personable.

Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

wonderful. Close to walking downtown or River Walk. Free parking, good breakfast, wine bar from 5-7, jacuzzi/pool........clean, safe.....
