Horrible customer service even before we get there. My wife and I are supposed to be spending a weekend here soon, but so far, we are not impressed with their level of service. I have asked repeatedly for a list of restaurants that honor their dinner package and have been told that we would get the list within a couple of hours...e-mail or fax or mail in a couple of days. We are still waiting and it's been approximately 3 weeks and 3 calls. We are seriously considering cancelling and going somewhere else that is interested in keeping the business, not just getting a booking.

Great Historic Hotel!!!. From the moment we got out of the car at the valet we were greeted by the friendliest staff!!! By the time we got up to our room we felt so welcomed, and it is the main thing that will have us coming back time and time again. We booked a room with a balcony entrance and it was so great. We found ourselves rocking in the chairs on the balcony, with a bottle of wine, watching the commotion most of the afternoon. The rooms were so quaint and cute, but they were also clean, nice and very reasonably priced. What a great way to experience Savannah, a historic refurbished hotel with staff that epitomizes true southern hospitality!

Boutique hotel lures travelers with elegant rooms and superior downtown Savannah location.. The Scene
This restored 19th century hotel sits along part of busy Broughton Street, just blocks from the restaurants and shops of City Market and River Street. The Marshall House isn't as intimate as some of Savannah's smaller B&Bs, but it charms all the same with exposed brick walls, original windows and pinewood floors. On more than one occasion, guests have reported sightings of Civil War soldiers; oddly enough, the building served as a Union Army hospital during the war.

The Details
The 68 rooms and suites mirror the colonial-era look, just add mini refrigerators and cable. Several rooms on the second floor open to a classic wrought iron veranda. Your stay includes continental breakfast and complimentary use of the steam room, sauna, whirlpool and workout facilities at the Downtown Athletic Club, which is one block away. The hotel's restaurant, 45 Bistro, is the sister restaurant of reputable 45 South.

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel. If you want romance, elegance, great service, beautifully restored hotel rooms in an historic hotel in Savannah, Georgia, then this is it!

Pricing is very reasonable for such an outstanding hotel. This is one of the oldest hotels in Savannah, and with the masterful restoration work done on it, it has once again become one of the jewels of Savannah!
