I was seated straight away, and was attentively waited on. I mentioned to the waiter when I ordered, how hungry I was, and he had my first course out in less than 2 minutes. The tea selection is excellent- I had the lavender vanilla, and it was absolute heaven! I definitely recommend the Tea Room!
Best service anywhere.
I have been a long time tea room patron and love The Tea Room. The food is delicious, the service is flawless and they treat their customers like family whether it's the first time they've been there or the 100th time.
I have come in wearing wet clothes from the garden and they let me sit right down with everyone else. You should make a reservation or be prepared to wait.
Avoid at All Cost. This is both a store and a Tea Room. Ive never been so insulted in my life than when we went here for lunch one day. Even though they have no ?stated? dress code and reservations are required ... they are. We were sat at a coffee table with seats that werent meant for eating at. The servers ignored us for the first 15 minutes. Mean while half the normal tables in the room sat empty. This is exactly what you can imagine an establishment being like in the 19th century South. If you aren?t upper class and prefer not being demeaned as a customer, try some where else.
