ok but overpriced. We recently dined at the Sapphire Grill during our stay in Savannah. The food was good but, I thought it was way overpriced for the quality and quantity. Also, we ordered the mojitos- very tasty drink but, I guess for $14.00 each they should be. I think there are restaurants with better food and less expensive prices in Savannah.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance.Great romantic evening out, or night with a couple girlfriends.... My husband and I have been here twice, the first on our honeymoon. For three years we have talked about the wonderful food and finally just got to go back. Amazing and fabulous food, service and ambiance!! The grits are my favorite :)
Fabulous food and atmosphere!. I was in Savannah on business and the Sapphire Grill was a recommendation from another co-worker. I'm definitely glad I asked for recommendations. This restaurant is 5-star worthy, great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the Red Snapper and it is one of the best dishes I've had. It is comparable to Red Light in Chicago, another great place. There were 4 of us and we loved everything that was brought to the table, zero complaints across the board. The food is truly a culinary experience. As much as I hate being on the road, Savannah is one place I don't mind spending a few weeks in. If you're going to be in the area, this should be a top pick for restaurants.
Hidden Treasure in Savannah.
What a wonderful hidden treasure in Savannah. My fiance and I were in search of a nice, quiet, place to enjoy a lovely Saturday night dinner on our weekend visit to this fine City.
We were more than pleased with the ambiance, hospitality, staff help and the food and service were above and beyond. We both agreed that the whole dining experience made our visit to Savannah stand out.
Thank you to the entire staff at Sapphire Grill.

Great Restaurant. This came highly reccomended by people living in Savannah, not just the hotel. Great place. Food was wonderful, the wine list was large, but not overpriced. Service was professional and attentive. We were late night on Tuesday, so it wasn't busy. But I bet it can be. We visited 10 days in Savannah, Hilton Head and Charleston. This was only one of two restaurants that aknowledged our honeymoon. Very highly reccomended.
The sexy vibe and can't-miss kitchen make this a gem of a choice for a special night out..
In Short
It has a bit of a split personality: The street-level dining room is all retro-modern cool, with exposed brick walls framing a curvy metal bar, designer lighting and splashes of the eponymous deep blue. Upstairs is an airier, quieter space, bathed in warm light and decorated with works by local artists. Both rooms exude an air of living well. Entrees include steaks and grilled seafood with a choice of sauces.
Worth the Trip. Although another reviewer insinuated, Sapphire Grill may not make it in Atlanta, the city of "love 'em and leave 'em" food fans; but, THIS AIN"T ATLANTA... a concept people in Atlanta don't seem to conquer. Sapphire Grill is a great place, nice food, and an asset to Savannah. Enjoy it!
