Tips for Elizabeth on thirty seventh

Eater Beware. New to Savannah, and without making early reservations, we ended up at Elizabeth's based on several magazine recommendations. The old house it's in is lovely and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the wait staff that had NO CLUE how to properly take orders or serve the food dampened our enthusiasm. It also didn't help that the drunken golfers at the next table were so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. And then, there are the prices - the 300% wine markups were the worst and although the food was wonderful, I would have expected the same quality of service with my meal. Definitely NOT a place I plan to re-visit.
