The Public Needs To Know
by 08181977
I apologize to all who read this. I was fired today. Not only a server, but a substitute manager as well. I do not mean any harm in this posting. I just feel that I need to exploit what is happening in this industry. Besides the fact that I am going to school for business mangement. I have spoke the words that other employees feel and know are true. I am only sorry that they will not stand up for themselves. I have been reprimanded for this (my attitude). In the words I grew up with (a pee-on).
In the event that a female was accusing the dishwasher for looking up her skirt, I was sidetracked. Trying to help the manager on duty with this, I forgot to put a tables order in. I had apologized three times. During this event the hostesses proceded to seat me three more times in the half empty restaraunt. I did not mind, I even tride to get the tables to slide together since they knew each other. The hostesses proceded to tell me I could not do this, since they came in separate. I did what I could to acommodate them, but to no avail.
I took the tables orders and tossed the menus on the host stand. Next thing I know the owners daughter asks me, "Why did you throw the menus at the hostesses?" I replied, "I am in a hurry, I was sat all the tables for no reason!" "I did not mean anything by my actions." "Why do you focuss all the negative attitudes towards me?" She replied, "Why are you acting this way?" I replied "Because you always focuss everything on me." "If you don't like, fire me."
As the manager on duty gets a sheet of paper to take the customers information. The customer procedes to tell my other tables how horrible I am. Next thing I know, the manager aks me "What did you do to this table?" I replied, "Nothing I took their order and when you walked away, the other table complained about me to my other tables."
I was fired for my attitude. Do you think this was right? People tend to think servers are robots. We have feelings too. Can you do it?
- Pros: Beeing seated in a timely fashion.
- Cons: Understaffed.
Great food and the best fried green tomatoes in the country.

We were in Savannah last April and we will be back on the 29th of this month. Our first stop will be Huey's.
I hope they haven't stopped making those tomatoes. Even if they have the menu is great also.
The view from the restaurant is really neat. Make sure you take the trolley tour of Savannah you will learn much about the old city. I love Savannah. The people are wonderful didn't meet one that was discourtious.
- Pros: Food, service, view
- Cons: Nothing
weak, weak drinks

$6.50 for the weakest bloody Mary I've ever had in my life. The fried green tomatoes weren't bad. Not worth the money in my opinion.
