An excellent place to dine!. Comming from a city with a large Italian population, I wouldn't call this a traditional itialian restaraunt. More of a new american cuisine with an italian flare. The food was superb, their chef is outstanding and has many ground breaking ideas to satisfy your taste buds! The ambience was very romantic and I can't say enough about the staff. This chefs version of gnocchi is by far the best my girlfriend and I have ever tasted. I'm not going to recommend any one dish as you won't be disappointed with any you chose. My girlfriend hardly ever utters a word about service but our waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable that my girlfreind spoke up to me and stated he deserves a higher than average tip...This restaurant has the whole package, romantic ambience, knowledgeable staff, superb wine list, and a magnificent chef! The IL Pasticcio could easily command a higher price for their food and service. What an excellent value.

classy Italian restaurant. This was a beautifully decorated restaurant. Very classy feeling. The food was EXCELLENT. The service was also fantastic, as the manager was making sure we enjoyed our meal and we sat at the bar because didn't have reservations. Great place. I suggest you dress nice, as we were feeling a little underdressed, though it was acceptable.

Exceptional Italian Food. My husband and I dined at Il Pasticcio our second night in Savannah. The wine list was impressive and the waiter was very knowledgable about the selections. We both ordered pasta dishes. Both of our dishes were fantastic. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the ingredients were very simple but delicious. My husband ordered the Godiva desert and raved about it for the rest of the trip. Our server was very helpful and was there when we needed him without ever being in the way.
