Tips for Russo's Seafood Restaurant

I grew up in Savannah, and my mother
bought fish at Russo's market. That's one of the reason I like flounder. So it was really exciting to read that Russo's had opened a restaurant. What a disappointment! The flounder I had at Russo's Seafood Restaurant could have come from Sam's Club. Flounder is a white flesh fish; mine was brown. And it had the opposite of that fresh taste I was expecting. It isn't just faulty memory. We used to come from New Orleans to Savannah to eat seafood at Williams, which unfortunately no longer exists (but it was good up to the end). And speaking of New Orleans, for the price Russo's charged for a "shrimp po' boy you could get twice as many shrimp (and better shrimp) on real French bread at lots of restaurants in New Orleans.
