Disgusting

The server was unattentive, the food slow and not so great. The atmosphere appauling....black vents, moldy carpets, look at the bottom of the curtains!!! Curious, when I got home I looked up the health department rating...a B....seriously? I paid over 100 dollars for this. I watched a roach scamper up the wall, and smelled a mysterious substance while in the basement bar...I swear it smelled like raw sewage and the bartender told me that is what it was! The bartender also showed me the plant growing from the corner of the bar. Really....the whole experience is disgusting.

Wonderful Dinner experience

had a fabulous dinner on a recent trip to Savannah - recommended by the Concige at the Doubltree. Made a reservation (earliest was 8:15) - so we got there a little early, had a drink in the neat bar and at 8:15 prompt they had a table for us in the main, front dining room. Service was superb as was the food. Was non inexpensive but who cares for this once a year experience. We'll be back.

This place is Awesome!

This was the best resturant ever. Me and my hubby have ate at every steak house you could imagine. This is by the far best. My husband a picky eater but this got his 100% approval.Everything was good from the little biscuits and cornbread to the rib eye and twiced bake potatoe. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Savannah you will not be dissappointed. We are still talking about how good it was to this day and the first time we had every been there was a month ago. Me and my husband live pretty far away and we just want to drive back there so we could eat there. Not to mention after you eat you can tour the house. Its a definte must when visiting Savannah.
