The Scene – Located on Chimney Creek, just off the main drag linking Savannah and Tybee Island, the Crab Shack has all the makings of a tourist trap. Fortunately, you won't mind being roped in. Sit on the spacious deck overlooking the water, or in the screened-in dining area; you're likely to have plenty of company, as locals and visitors alike are drawn by the promise of fresh seafood in a leave-all-your-worries-behind environment. Spunky servers reflect the casualness of the atmosphere. – – The Food – The Capt'n Crab's Sampler--a massive pile of snow crab legs, meaty…
Not the best

I didn't enjoy this resturant at all. If you like all your food boiled then you'd probably enjoy it. Everything ordered at our table was tasteless. Very bland. Maybe I just like spicer food.
GREAT AND FAST SERVICE

If you're looking for fast food and fast service, or your idea of good seafood includes batter and oil, keep looking! If you're looking for good low country boil seafood and a laid back atmosphere, this place is great. Yeah, it looks like a tourist trap, but it's some really great food. Slow down, relax, and don't go in a hurry. Loved sitting out under the trees!
FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

"If you want great food and a fun, casual atmosphere, this is it! I have been visiting Savannah / Tybee Island for years, and have never tried The Crab Shack because I foolishly thought it was ""touristy.""
My husband and I spent our anniversary in Savannah this past weekend, and decided to go try their crab legs. We are so glad we did! Everything about this place is fun, relaxed, and epitomizes the laid-back Tybee lifestyle. The food is fresh, crazy good, and piled high. Grab a t-shirt, shorts and flip flops, and go join in the fun!"
Food was good!!! :)

We ate outside on the deck with views of the water (not ocean). They served the food on styrofoam plates and there were trashcans in the middle of the tables, but food was good. Very good value, especially for seafood. Great place to eat!
