I went to the Dolphin Reef after a
business meeting at the hotel. I wasn’t terribly hungry so I just ordered an appetizer and a bowl of soup. They were both outstanding. I had the crispy calamari appetizer. It was lightly breaded and fried to perfection and served with a tomato marinara sauce. My She Crab soup was the best I have ever eaten and contained big lumps of crab meat.

We ate here two nights in a row.
That's how much we liked it. The servers were a nice as they could be and we were very satisfied with everything. The peel and eat shrimp were the best I have ever had. If you go to Tybee, go here.

We are also lucky enough to catch the
tail end of happy hour and had the cheapest drinks of any place we went on Tybee.

The food was great and so were the
waiters. The prices were good. The view of the beach from our table was second to none. The buffet has enough choices to please everyone. We're going back.

We were in Savannah and asked around.
We were in Savannah and asked around for a beach restaurant and several people told us about the Dolphin Reef on Tybee Island. The locals said that's where they went. It's about a half hour drive from downtown Savannah but worth it.  First, the parking is free.  You take the elevator to the 3rd floor and enjoy a view of the beach all the way. We had the seafood platter and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view at sunset is breathtaking.  I highly recommend it.
